FITFIRE® Hood:
ducts and extraction hoods
FITFIRE® Hood is the certified thermosetting liner by Beca Engineering for the rehabilitation of extraction hoods and ducts.
Designed for the food service industry, this 100% Italian solution is engineered to provide durability, high sealing performance and ease of installation even in the most demanding and hard-to-reach environments: it enables restoration of worn or obsolete extraction ducts without the need to replace pipes or demolish walls.
Made with advanced composite materials, FITFIRE® Hood creates a new oil-repellent internal lining, resistant to fumes, vapours and grease, while also improving system efficiency.
During installation, the liner adapts like a second skin, perfectly adhering to surfaces even along bends and corners of the existing hood. At the end of the process, the result is a system without joints or weak points where leaks could develop (new monolithic lining).

How FITFIRE® Hood
Fast and smart: renew in 5 steps
- 1. Video inspection > 2. Application of the lower and upper sleeve with pressure gauge > 3. Forced air injection > 4. Steam injection > 5. Cutting of excess liner.
And your hood’s new ducts are ready!
FITFIRE® Hood is first inserted into the existing duct and inflated using forced air and pressurised steam. During installation, the thermosetting liner expands and perfectly adheres to the internal surfaces of the extraction duct, even in the presence of bends, restrictions and curves.
The result is a system that is rehabilitated, efficient and easy to maintain over time. Once hardened, the new monolithic lining (without joints) makes the hood safe, ready for use and compliant with regulations.
